This post has been put together to help assist players when they're looking for different things that they might need to assist them in putting their character and/or journal together. There are a bunch of nifty RP tools out there on the internet and we're trying to help our players so they don't have to hunt them down. This is where you can find resources that we've actually tried out and fully recommend. If you have anything you'd like to add, please do drop a note. X-Men Wikia on Powers. We like to say that mutants come in different levels. In light of this, we have found a splendid page that describes these power levels to degree that seems to be understandable. The Marvel Database. This is one of the largest, most accurate resources we've come across. Please remember when going through this wiki that we are not accepting non-X-Men characters. UncannyXMen.net. Not all information is relevant, but it is a good site to look at when you're trying to find a new character. Marvel.com. The official Marvel universe wiki. This will provide you with the most up-to-date information about any character, but be aware that it may not jazz with the current game timeline. Comicvine.com. Full of great photos and comic covers! One of the best places to find photographs to crop and make images of your character. List of comic book superpowers. This is a wikipedia list of comic book superpowers. We allow overlaps of superpowers so you don't have to worry if yours isn't unique. | ||
| Journal Set-Up. | ||
Some of the things most people look at for setting up their journal include layout, icons, and profile or table codes for their character's info. Here we can provide you with resources to find what you need for those, as well as general RP Helping Hands. PB Updates (Memories). Search here for your actor! Hit ctrl+f, type in the name, and see if they've got anything. RP_Tutorials. This site is a very good resource for RPers of all shapes and sizes. It provides all kinds of HTML help and we certainly recommend it. They have character info layouts, journal layouts, and a lot more. In fact, most of the html from this game was either created by or inspired by rp_tutorials.
Firefox Addons. For those RPers with Firefox, there are a ton of add-ons to make RP life SO MUCH EASIER. This list, provided by the above community, is a good place to find those things. | ||
